In The Balance explores an honest journey through some of the personal and universal experiences we go through in life at any given period of time. All told from a place of truth. From dealing with changes within ourselves to confronting our demons, both in the form of others and our own thoughts and shortcomings. Acknowledging loss in different forms, the struggle of living with mental health issues, and the gratitude for those who enrich our lives despite all this. A reflection on the need for both internal and sociological change. A time capsule of a life, hanging in the balance.
The driving force. The backbone. The Heart. The 3 pillars of In The Balance. The first, a representation of Time. The album captures a moment in time, and time is the driving force throughout life. It keeps us moving forwards, always. Second, front and centre, is Truth, the backbone of everything. Honesty is key to living our truest lives, even when it isn't easy. We all have our own truths, and the collection of songs that make up this album are the most candid in topic and tone we have created to date. Third is The Heart, a representation of life itself. And some of the experiences we go through in life. Each experience is unique, but we are all connected. We are alive. And there is no life without The Heart.
